Hypnotically inspired by “Les Femmes de l’ombre”, a 2008 French movie based on the story of Lise de Baissac. Calvin Luo continued to tell the story of a strong independent woman, adorned in femininity through his strong structured shoulder shirting creations and blouses juxtaposed with lace, feather and rushing details to create his “New Look”.
