New York City, no matter how well you think you know it, there's always something or someplace new that grips you. With NYFW SS19 at a close, and a slew of overseas shows that have made our heads spin, fashion month has concluded to be an intriguing and flirtatious season. September is of course the time to make anew and take new risk during the upcoming fall season, although recent SS19 collections have us dreaming of summer all over again. Pre NYFW, I confidently went into this season with a whirling head anticipating my eyes to dance down catwalks completely taken by each collection. Post NYFW, I must say I received exactly what I anticipated and then some, and the unanticipated honestly left me completely breathless and enamored by the sheer beauty and innovation of our favorite Spring/ Summer 2019 Collections.

Custo barcelona unveiled their Aftersun collection specifically for next seasons summer nights. Experimentation and comfort are combined to create a unique and eminently nocturnal wardrobe with unprecedented volumes and lines. Aftersun is a collection of well-crafted pieces that continue to develop the language of the firm while adorning skin that wants to be seen.
